End of the No Sugar week

This week I cut out sugar. Not all sugar, I cut out baking & added sugar (I drank black coffee all week, which is crazy for me because I take 2 Tablespoons of French Vanilla Coffee Mate!)...I still ate carbs & fruit. On top of that, I exercised 5 out of 7 days and lost a total of 4.6 lbs! Woohoo! Feels great! I got some flack from ppl saying I shouldn't cut out sweets entirely, because then I would binge on them in the future. But my purpose for cutting out sugar/sweets was to "cleanse/purify" my system to give it a jump start for weight loss. Don't get me wrong, I will still treat myself to something sweet once in awhile, just not as often as I was.

And on another note, I reached 1000 calories burned on the XBox Kinect! Yay! I did my 3rd Skinny Jeans workout today, and let me tell ya, it ain't easy on my thighs! But I am so excited to exercise, and I still never thought I would hear myself say that;)

Until next time...."keep fit, and have fun!" lol:)

~Cheers~

  1. You need to understand that eating can be very emotional!! so when you cut out something completely from your diet you just need to be ready to cut it out. That knowing your body and your limits is especially important. Example: I knew I couldn't just have one bowl of chips so I cut them out entirely. Just play around with food. Nothing wrong with treating a sweet as a TREAT!!!
ps.It's hard cutting out ALL sugar... also 1 cup black coffee before you work out helps you by giving and is actually recommended for you. ( start buying the oxygen magazines )
